The Osiligi Maasai Warriors arrive in Newcastle this September – a terrific tribal group all the way from southern Kenya.
Their first major concert in the area will be held at Newcastle Cathedral on Thursday, 14 September where families can enjoy an educational show looking at the intriguing lives of the Maasai.
The Warriors tour has gained the support of a small UK charity, Osiligi Charity Projects – and, collectively, they have utterly transformed their local community in recent years. A new primary school, medical centre, water station and orphanage has been built with the funds. It’s a great cause and it’s a brilliant, educational journey to take the whole family on in Newcastle this autumn.
Unreserved seating. Doors open 6.30pm. There will be a short half-time interval.
