You are warmly invited to visit Newcastle Cathedral – whether you wish to join us for worship, or are seeking some space for peace and quiet, or are interested in exploring the Cathedral’s treasures – all are welcome. Our monuments and stained glass tell vivid stories of Newcastle’s history. Our collection of ledger stones is one of the largest in Western Europe.

We are open:
- Sunday to Friday from 7.30am until 6.00pm

Things to do when you get here
As you enter the Cathedral through one of the doors under the Lantern Tower you will see the Welcome Desk. Feel free to pick up a freeWelcome leaflet which includes a suggested route to explore the Cathedral and some of its treasures.
