Visiting Choirs

When the resident choirs of the Cathedral are on holiday, Newcastle Cathedral encourages visiting choirs to volunteer to help lead worship. This can be at Sunday services (Sung Eucharist at 10am, and Choral Evensong at 4pm), for a weekend with an additional Evensong on Saturday (3pm), or for a whole week. We are also starting a series of Saturday Evensongs during the spring months for which we are keen to find visiting choirs. We hope that choirs will feel welcomed and valued by our friendly Cathedral community.

There are many hotels around the Cathedral that cater for all price ranges, and as an iconic and artistically vibrant city, Newcastle makes for an exciting visiting choir destination.
